With a strong track record in family planning and engagement of national leaders, Indonesia shows promise in meeting its Family Planning 2020 commitments and national goals. But it also faces a significant challenge: fostering that engagement at lower levels of government. Due to decentralization and devolution of government authority, many budgeting and programmatic decisions are made by decisionmakers in more than 500 districts and municipalities.

Yayasan Cipta Cara Padu
Yayasan Cipta Cara Padu (YCCP) was established following the success of donor-assisted programs on strategic communication and behavior change implemented by Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Center for Communication Programs (CCP) in Indonesia for the past 15 years.
YCCP envisions improvements in Indonesians’ quality of life through strategic communication for social development focusing on health communication and capacity-building on clinical training. YCCP has a core team of professional individuals well-experienced in USAID-funded projects (MNH, STARH and HSP), in strategic communication and behavior change communication design and implementation, in the development of capacity for training (PMTCT,IP, DMT), and a strong network with BKKBN, MoH, FBO, CSO and professional organizations.
Presently YCCP works with Advance Family Planning to provide technical assistance to UNICEF Indonesia on Communication For Development, and on a USAID-funded water and sanitation project.
